OASHF was formed in 1991 to garner support for its member foodbanks and stretch dollars through consolidated purchasing of food that is then distributed to Ohio's emergency food assistance network.
Your donation to the Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks provides food to our 12 regional foodbanks. Through the power of buying, we are able to turn $1 into 4 meals.

OASHF's mission is to assist Ohio's 12 Feeding America foodbanks in providing food and other resources to people in need and to pursue areas of common interest for the benefit of people in need.
There are many ways to get involved with the work that is done at OASHF. From signing up for advocacy and action alerts to becoming a certified OBB counselor, opportunities are plentiful to make a difference in the lives of Ohio's most vulnerable populations.
OASHF strives to provide information about the programs it administers with friends, colleagues, donors, partners, funders, supported and the general public.
As opportunities arise, the OASHF seeks to employ individuals who are passionate about the fight against hunger and poverty in Ohio.
