Helping Ohioans in Need and Helping Ohio’s Economy OBB Regional Briefings OBB is offering regional information sessions to identify and educate new community partners that might host additional Ohio Benefit Bank (OBB) sites. These sites will cover areas not presently served and will target low- and moderate-income Ohioans who do not appear to be receiving tax credits and benefits for which they are eligible. At the regional briefings, Ohio Benefit Bank coordinators and the Director of the OBB, from Governor Strickland’s Office, will describe the OBB and how it works. The meetings also will focus on recruiting new OBB sites hosted by local community organizations and identifying new OBB counselors to be trained in offering the OBB to clients. The sessions are free of charge and will last approximately one-and-a-half hours, including a one-hour presentation and 30 minutes for questions and answers. Please choose one of the following briefings offered by the Ohio Benefit Bank. For registration information or if you have any questions, please call Nora Nees at 614.221.4336 or [email protected]. |
